Love, During, desire, causes, Spring, Increased

What causes increased desire for love and sex during spring?

Is it pollen in the air? I don't taste it yet, and hell is already starting for me. Or is it something different?

Do you mean for animals or people, either way I really don't think it's anything specific (or tangible).
People have long associated spring with love, lust and fruitfullness, understably, but mistakenly.

Many animals give birth in spring and this adds to the illusion but the truth is those with babies were getting 'busy' back in late summer through fall. Theres a reason for this involving climate and food sources but I'lll try not to bore you. The truth is, while some animals do mate in spring, for most it is a time to raise children, not flirt.

If you are feeling frisky this spring I suspect it's a collective of this common beleif, probably you feeling better now that the weather has changed and you won't be getting sick anymore, as well as a reaction to the opposite sex starting to wear fewer clothes.
